The Catalan Young Scientific Parliament is a programme designed to prepare young people to take part as active citizens in the knowledge society through debate, negotiation and knowledge in scientific matters. The goals of this programme are: to introduce students to parliamentary procedures in the area of science and investigation; to help students form reasoned opinions and assess complex issues; and promote interaction among scientists and young people.
It is held every two years as part of the European Student Parliaments project.
It was launched by the Wissenschaft im Dialog Foundation (Germany).
The Young Scientific Parliament (2019) was organised by FCRI with the support of the Banc Sabadell Foundation and the Víctor Grífols Lucas Foundation.
